We walked around the park while staying overnight here. It was quite nice. Lots of trails. Hot showers for campers (pay with quarters). Restrooms/showers were very clean and nice. There was an area under a sun canopy with exercise equipment! Pretty cool. Noise from the busy highway nearby was nill. Would stay again.

Guajome has miles of trails that wind through the valley. The park and trails are well maintained to allow for walking, running, biking, or horseback riding. There is always plenty of wildlife to enjoy. Ducks, herons, hawks, turtles, frogs, horses, snakes, coyotes, and plenty of other species.

Helped me learn all about the history of surfing. Well worth it for an hour when you are cruising downtown oceanside.

We have camped in a Fifth Wheel at Guajome County Park several times over the 17 years. The first time we really enjoyed it except they don't offer a sewer. And the prices were reasonable. The last time we were not very happy. They have cut a lot of trees and bushes and now there is no privacy between sites.... More

This park is right off the highway but you aren't really bothered by the noise. Only if an ambulance or cop goes by with sirens on otherwise the place is far back enough you don't hear any road traffic. Park is nice, two fishing lakes, playground, etc. Campsites are a little small but with electricity, water, picnic table and barbeque/fire... More

Beautiful trail around lake and around back of park. Ducks, Geese and Birds add a wonderful experience for the whole family. New playground equipment for kids and exercise equipment for adults. Volleyball and horseshoes for groups. Tent and RV camping, has clubhouse for family gatherings. All set just minutes outside town.

Nice, small campground with hook-ups, and nice sites, surrounded by trees. Hiking and biking trails. Good playground area for kids.

Love this little gem, hidden away in the urban vista hillside, a memorial to a time when every property had some acreage on it. Still some of these now historic houses to still be seen but coming into this park is like journeying to another world within our own. I come here often to feed ducks and squirrels, very therapeutic.

Went here with a girl scout troop to camp and had a great time. There are about 30 campsites for RV or tent, so it's pretty small. Some of the sites are in shade, others are not, so be careful what site you pick...also, some are more geared for RV and have small tent pad areas, so possibly could only... More
