We stayed in Oceanside for a week and we used the Ciaster several times to visit San Diego and some of the smaller beach towns along the coast. The train is very reasonably priced and you are treated to some outstanding coastal views.

I rode this train from San Diego. I was nervous about having to make the transition to the Metro, however both stations are a short walking distance from each other.

Enjoy an unforgettable ride along the Pacific Ocean in a beautiful and clean train. The Encinitas stop in right in downtown as are most stops and you are steps away from everything each city along the San Diego Coast has to offer.

It is a nice, quiet ride and the train stops at the entrance to Old Towne. Riding on the upper level has a nice view.

We took the Coaster from Carlsbad Poinsettia to San Diego as an alternative to driving to PetCo Park baseball stadium. The Coaster is cheap and has great views of the Pacific coastline and beaches. The stations are clean and the service was right on time....More
