I've come here twice for field trips with my elementary school students. An important venue that should be visited and recommended more often. I love the the exterior facade that reminds me of the Greek and Roman column styles.

This is a great museum with great collections in a very unusual place. Highly recommended. Take the train from LA and walk around downtown Oxnard with great food and this amazing gem...or drive up the PCH and visit the 2 great car museums as well.

This is a gorgeous museum with wonderful speakers and exhibits of well known artists! It's also located in historic downtown Oxnard right near a Starbucks if you need a beverage!

You wouldn't think that a small town like Oxnard could have such a treasure. The exhibits change often so you never know what you are going to see but it is definitely worth a visit.

First class museum with important works from 1890 on. Surprises around every corner. A Van Gogh here a Hopper there. Lightning could be better but forgiveable. Skip the cafeteria but not the museum.
