I love this beach that is an iconic place to watch a sunset, have a romantic picnic on the beach, a place to propose, or just gor for a nice long walk.

Asilomar Beach is spectacularly beautiful beach. It has a gorgeous white sand beach on the south end may stretch an entire mile. Great place for strolling, playing in waves washing up, and spectacular sunsets. Great for whale watching and birding. A favorite spot for local...More

This is out at the end of the Monterey Peninsula, past the Point Pinos lighthouse. No bathrooms, limited parking in dirt. NO LIFEGUARDS !!! can get windy or breezy. Great on a hot day.

Such a beautiful view. On a clear day you can see forever. All the way to Santa Cruz and over to moss landing and seaside. Take a wind breaker and take a hat cover. It's cold, windy and Misty. Don't leave your camera. There are...More

Absolutely gorgeous, both myself and my family loved it. Probably the most beautiful beach in the Monterey area. Dogs allowed on leash, unfortunately this rule is not universally followed.

Very nice State Beach with awesome sunsets. Lots of people come out to this beach to sit and watch the sun go down. Nice place to walk the shore or just sit and relax.

There is not much you can see. Though it's a good place to have a drive along the neighborhood. There are lots of restaurants in the area, so you can just head to the city center to have a quick meal.

I enjoy coming to Monterey & Pacific Grove but I haven’t spent much time on this beach. It was very nice & relaxing place to take your shoes off and wade into the ocean. Play in the waves!

You can take your doggy's here off-leash! Right next to Pebble Beach golf course and it was fun to watch the surfers here.

Many areas to stop, park and explore. Nice area to ride a bike too. There are plenty of benches to sit and watch the waves. Saw some wildlife. Sea otters, seals, and sea stars.

As far as I know fires are not allowed on the "State Beach" (the end closest to the road) however you can have small Webers or hibachis. If you cross the small stream going from the boardwalk to the sea( the county end... More

Yes. We saw several dogs and very few of them were leashed. They were all well behaved and it seems everyone does clean up after them. We saw no "gifts" left behind. :)
