Plants like I've never seen before!
This family owned garden shares a cultural and botanical history that is fascinating. We were so lucky to be there on the first day their tortoises came out of hibernation. One tortoise was 92 years old! Beautiful cacti, agave, and other unique plants. Loved it.

    Interesting Cacti
This is a private family-owned garden, established in 1938, and specializing in desert plants from around the world. We did a short walking tour through, to see their large collection of 3000 varieties of cacti. Very interesting, and great for pictures. Parking is just wherever you can find it, on the side of the highway. There are some plants for sale as well.

Small garden but great way to spend an hour for only $5 entrance fee -- really enjoyed all the cacti and desert plants
It took us about an hour to wander through the garden. Free parking, $5 entrance fee. Lots of varieties of cacti, really enjoyed to finally learn some of the names. There are also lots of desert plants like aloe, yucca, and cholla. Lots of shade too for the afternoon sun. There is a small pond with fish and stream going through the garden. Very nicely done! You can buy plants to take home. There is turtle space, but no turtle when we visited.

    Wedding Ceremony Perfection!!!
We held our wedding ceremony at the garden and it was nothing short of amazing. Everything was perfect and owners so easy to work with and helpful. This is a hidden secret in Palm Springs to hold your wedding. The setting is perfect and very affordable!!!

    Fun time, knowledgeable staff
Spent a nice 1.5 hours at the garden, wide variety of desert plants we’ve never seen. The staff’s knowledge of the plants was amazing, and we left with a bunch of starter-sized cacti. Worth a visit!

    Nice small desert garden
We spent a very pleasant 45 minutes or so among the various cacti and other desert plants. Just a few plants were in bloom in mid-March, but many were just about to bloom. We also caught the beginning of a guided tour where they talked about palm trees which was interesting. Worth adding to your itinerary if you enjoy botanical gardens.

With all the great activities Palm Springs and Palm Desert offer, this should be low on the list unless you love cacti. $5 per person and you can walk it in 15 minutes.

Beautiful place to visit and see some unique desert plants! They made a walking trail around their property with beautiful desert plants and encourage birds to come to the property. There is also a nice selection of cactus and desert plants for sale.
