The hiking tracks here offer easy going all day hiking opportunities. The landscape is increadible and you really can get some good pictures. Make sure you pack lots of water, even in the winter and sunscreen. Wear light protective clothing and comfortable grippy shoes. I would recommend travelling with a friend or group as there are a few dangerous spots... More

We didn't have much time, but were able to walk through Palm Canyon and stop at the parking lot for Murray/Andreas Canyons. Well worth the trip. Will definitely go back when we have more time.

One of the highlights of our trip. A short drive from the hotel , but well worth it. Lots of hiking or walking trails for the experienced or casual.

I did this alone and felt safe. The fee for me was $9. You drive to a booth and continue on a long, winding road. While you're driving you'll come to a fork in the road. You go left for Palm Canyon and right for Murray/Andreas trails. I hiked the Palm Canyon trail. Once you park there is a ranger... More

We were blown away by the beauty and especially the lushness within the desert. I had never seen wild palms, and the waterfalls were gorgeous. Was a pleasant escape, fun walk. Highly recommend

Beautiful, so many trails to choose, you'll feel like you stepped out of Palm Springs. Parts of it feel tropical and there's water! Worth it, worth it, worth it.

Really enjoyed hiking in the lovely Indian Canyons area on a recent trip to Palm Springs. Due to recent rains, some of the trails had flooded areas, but there were still a lot open, and the rangers were patching up foot bridges that had been washed out in floods. There is a great variety of trails from beginner through to... More
