This is the icon of Stanford, and worth scheduling a time to go up the tower. You'll certainly take a picture from several vantage points on Stanford.

Worth spending the $4 to go up in the elevator to see the views from the tower over the campus, out to the mountains and the bay.

I can recommend this site, both for its beautiful views of the area but also for the small exhibit about President Hoover. The staff was excellent, well informed and very friendly. I can really recommend asking them questions! Very fun and helpful group.

The tower may seem like just another tower but it isn't. The guides are excellent and the stories they tell are worth listening to. The view of Stanford is exhilarating . You leave the tower tour with a wow feeling
