I would describe this as more of a hands-on science center than museum, but either way a great way to spend a couple of hours. Lots of interactive exhibits and the zoo was small, but very fun. Definitely worth the trip. Donations accepted. Plenty of...More

A lot of fun for kids of different ages. My eight and ten year olds loved the science stations and interactive tennis ball area. Nice outside animal exhibits.

The childrens museum and zoo is so nicely kept and updated. We visited regularly while we lived nearby. Lots of animals, interactive games for children, and plenty of benches for parents/caregivers to sit. Good bathrooms as well.

This is a terrific place for family, and best of all, entrance fee is basically your voluntary donation.

Perhaps not World Class by adult standards, for a 3 and 5 year old this was the best ever place to go. In addition the small collection of animals, they have a science interactive center as well.

No lockers , but it's a small community museum, with someone attending the front desk who can see the area where bags & strollers are left. They should be pretty safe.
