Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fairly large well maintained park in the heart of Paso Robles. Good place to walk and enjoy the outdoors.

A stretch of green in the center of Paso Robles. Long line of garbage containers spoils a moderately maintained space. Not interesting at all.

The traditional old city square is rare in California, but a nice place for locals and visitors alike. High daytime temperatures make it a better evening activity, as you stroll to digest your dinner from one of the dozens of restaurants on the streets surrounding the park. A problem with a vagrant was quickly resolved with a swift police response.

Beautiful Green space. Plenty of room to throw out a blanket or a towel and catch the sun. Play park for the kids. Immaculately clean and well-lighted. there are some beautiful trees for shade and there is plenty of open space. Convenient parking around the periphery of the park, but be sure to read the signs or you will end up with a ticket.

We stayed by the City Park at the Paso Robles Hotel It has a visitor center, gazebo, playground. Its a very nice place to walk. There is the town shops in this area as well.
We were there when it was Christmas time and the lights in the park were pretty.

Such a pleasant downtown . Most of it surrounds the City Park which is about two or three blocks long and a block wide. Very well maintained, Lots of trees for shade. Picnic benches. A playground, Horseshoe pits. City Museum and clean restrooms.
Parking adjacent to the park is free for two hours though you do need to enter your license plate in a "pay"machine. Machines are located on most corners and elsewhere along the sidewalk surrounding park.

This park is literally the town center. It is where people meet up , hear music, play with their children on the recreational playground, and walk their dogs. Lined with restaurants and stores - it is a fun place to be!

Thinking of an Americana town of old? This is it! The only thing missing is the town government building around the park....it's just a block away.
