Calcareous winery has the second-best view in Paso, only coming in slightly behind Daou. Both views are amazing. You can definitely see the calcareous soil all around you as you drive up the winding road to the top. The wine tasting was only $10 and we were able to enjoy our tasting out on the patio with the breathtaking views.... More

Check-in w/ Yelp for a free tasting. This winery sits on top of a hill for a beautiful almost 360 degree view. We've been here a couple of times and have really enjoyed the wines. There is a lunch tasting option available on the weekends which comes with a 3 or 5oz pour (can't remember). We shared a bunch of... More

Great wines, great views, and great people. The people working in the tasting room are fantastic, knowledgeable and nice. Grab a bottle get a cheese plate or some of their great food, find a table and enjoy! Authentic bocce ball court as well, just ask for the balls. Very dog friendly!

This was a repeat stop for us on a recent trip to Paso. We lucked into a delicious food and wine pairing for lunch consisting of four 3-oz tastes and both beef and chicken sliders and a delicious kale salad from Thomas Hill Organics. The wine was good. The food was good. The view is spectacular.

What a gorgeous place! You could sit for hours sipping their great wine and watching the clouds go by. Loved the spot and the wine so much we joined the wine club. The Z&M is delicious.

I hate to write these kind of reviews but I am so disapointed regarding our visit to this winery. We always visit Paso Robles at least twice a year for their excellent wines. We have never been treated so poorly in all our time going wine tasting in Paso Robles or anywhere may it be in Napa, Lodi or Livermore... More

We have been wine club members of Calcareous for about three years now and had the opportunity to talk to Jason (winemaker) a couple different times. Not only does Jason make great wines he is very humble and appreciative of his team. The location of the tasting room is awesome and very relaxing. Calcareous pours about 6 - 8 wines... More

We did not particularly like the wines. The pours were not generous. We sat our side and really enjoyed the expansive views.

We are sorry to hear that your palate doesn't enjoy our wines. We have been continuously getting great reviews on our wines, but everyone's palate differs. We pour an ounce to an ounce and a half of wine for each wine in the tasting. We do offer wine by the glass if you want more of any of our wines.... More
