Low Key & lovely
Sep 2016 • Couples
We stopped here based on some great Yelp reviews and we always enjoy the small family owned places better than the alternative.
The view is incredible.
The wines are well made - a great value for small production and all consistent.
It was quiet and we were able to sit outside and enjoy a relaxing tasting with our dogs.
Would definitely return.

Where Has this Place Been?
Mar 2016 • Couples
We have visited many wineries in Paso, and a great majority of them have great wines or excellent views of the area, or just make you feel special and welcomed. Mondo Celars somehow found a way to combine all of these attributes and rolled them into one beautiful adventure. This is also a bed n breakfast but you need to book in advance to get any of the Four suites. The wines are beyond great. Mondo gives cool names for the wines al set to an almost gangster, speakeasy, feel.. The people there are extremely nice. We talked to this one super sweet girl, but cannot remember her name (Cenida?....maybe?......sorry). We just know that she treated us like family. The view..oh my gosh, the view from there is spectacular. We just happen to drive by, on our way to Justin (no review about them.....nothing to brag about), and we saw the Mondo sign and decided to stop by......I am so happy we did. When you visit Paso Robles and drive on Nacimiento Lake dr, please visit Mondo Cellars. You will be happy too.

Great view, nice wines
Mar 2015 • Couples
This winery is very laid back and comfortable. It is family owned, and the owners are very friendly and are the ones to serve you. We preferred the outdoor patio, where you can drink in the lovely view of the surrounding hills and vines. The wines can be served to you there. They had perfect wines to just enjoy as you sit back and relax.

Great Place for a Summer Evening
Jul 2014 • Friends
Mondo has a very good selection of wines and a great outdoor seating area that is perfect for relaxing on summer evenings. There is a fire pit, and sometimes music. In 2014 Mondo was so popular that they ran out of wine, but they have announced that they are restocked for 2015.

We were happily entertained!
Apr 2015 • Couples
We were happily entertained by the friendly Mondo Cellars' owners who made us immediately feel comfortable and relaxed. Perusing the creative names & descriptions of wines is just plain simple smiling fun. Enjoy Mondo Cellars wines in the tasting room or outside on the covered patio and go ahead - drink in the view. We've picked outside on all 3 of our visits. It is a perfect perch to kick back and enjoy the moment. Friday Night Sunset Happy Hour started back up this Spring and runs through October 30. Live music. Catered appetizer selections. A glass/bottle of wine to share. Looking forward to our next sunset visit.

What a view!
Apr 2015 • Couples
This place is high on a hill with an outstanding view of the area. We were greeted in the parking lot by the resident Labrador Retriever who escorted us to the door and went inside with us. Very low key place with inexpensive but well palatable wines. They are served to you at a table where you can enjoy the view. Don't miss this place - it is one of a kind. Very fun.

FRIENDLY AND COMFORTABLE PLACE TO TRY SOME GOOD WINES
Dec 2014 • Couples
My wife and I just happened on this place during a recent visit to the Paso Robles area. We found that the place was closed however, the owner (Doug) was there and he happily opened up so we could taste his wines. There was a mix of whites and reds with a good range of prices and all of the wines were very decent overall. We had a very friendly chat with the owner, his daughter, and two dogs while tasting his wares and we never felt rushed nor like he was eager for us to leave. We ended up buying only one bottle of his wine but we are seriously considering joining his wine club (the Mondo Mob) due to all of the factors listed above. I would highly recommend this location when you are in the Paso Robles area for a visit.

Really enjoyed all the wine
Jun 2013 • Friends
and visiting with Mike Mondo. This place has a fabulous view and is fairly close to town, though it feels very remote. The pictures of the bed and breakfast rooms look quite nice on the website and you can view them unless they're already reserved.

My husband and I really enjoyed the wine, and hope you do too. Not everyone likes the same wine - that's why there are so many wineries.

If you're on the west side of Paso Robles, check out this place.
