Loved this winery! These Rhone varietal wines are refreshingly more old-world in style-- earthier and less fruit forward. The location is beautiful and the patio was perfect for a picnic with friends.

We were hosted by Gustavo, the Chilean, that almost speaks with a French accent. The wines of Tablas are up-market and of extreme quality. Perhaps mirror imaging Chateau Beaucastel, but still keeping their own identity in that the Mouvedre component is higher. The tasting room...More

This winery has a lot to offer, not only in the wines themselves which were quite delicious but their unique wine making process is fascinating and much needed here. I was very impressed. It doesn't hurt to have all those French accents around. I almost...More

We stopped at Tablas Creek on our recent trip to Paso Robles after two other wineries recommended the winery. Tablas Creek imported vines from the Rhone region of France. They create wonderful, complex, balanced, smooth, and food friendly wines. My husband and I loved every...More

Outstanding wine tasting. In addition to tasting the wines as part of a regular tasting, our server clearly listened to our preferences and brought out a few additional wines that she thought we’d like. She treated us to what seemed like a lesson in Rhone-style...More
