The "Inn at Croad Vineyards" is a great location with spectacular views of vineyards and countryside and serene peaceful welcoming environment. We visit Paso Robles once a year and have stayed here multiple times in this Inn. We are also members of the wine club and consider their delicious wines to be in a top 3 best wineries in Paso. Complimentary tasting is included with a continental breakfast. It is relaxing to sit down in the evening sipping wonderful wine in front of the real fire place and listening to music of your choice. The owner checks every morning and evening on your needs and makes sure you are comfortable. Thank you Martin, we had a blast visiting your gem!

Really love the Zinfandels here. The view and sound of the fountain while tasting is awesome. Martin is really down to earth, however it can be a bit snooty here...the wines are well worth it however.

Croat, winery has magnificent hilltop views and excellent wines. The owners Patti and her Kiwi husband whose name I have forgot ( sorry mate! ) are warm and unpretentious ,which is a breath of fresh air in the region . Of the half a dozen wineries that we visited this was our favorite.

Stopped here last Wednesday on our last day in the area. Fellow guests at our Cambria lodging were headed here, so we decided to check it out. Tasted some amazing wines (Zinfandels a specialty here) & enjoyed a great view! They also have a few lovely rooms you can stay in. Looks like a great place to stay & definitely is a great place to taste wine!

Croad sits tucked away with great views on the west side of Paso. It has an Inn in addition to the winery. They are a bit unusual as they offer a happy hour in the afternoon. Not aware of another vineyard that does that. Reservations suggested, but they seemed very open to drop ins. There was a large group from one of the wine tours while we were there.
Lots of of outdoor and indoor area for tasting.
We elected for an elevated tasting experience. I contacted them and set up a vineyard tour and barrel tasting in addition to our regular tasting. We had the pleasure of the engaging Martin Croad as our guide. Hopped in his vineyard Jeep and had an informative ride around the property. Then we hit the barrel room for several different barrel samples. To top off the visit, we had our regular tasting. If you are looking for something different, I recommend trying to book this experience.
Nice overall experience with solid wines. Views alone are worth a visit.

Croad has some great views, and they advertise some fun events. My wife and I showed up to try it out. We are new to the area, and I saw they were serving sausage in the tasting room. We show up in the middle of the advertised time frame, thinking it would be busy, and no one. No food, and no people. Great views though. Wine was good, but not great. Didn't need to buy anything. My wife and I share a tasting, and the server pours the smallest sip I have ever seen, especially for 2 people sharing. I know us sharing shouldn't make a difference, but this pour was so small, I barely could take a sip, just myself. So luckily my wife realized, and passed on most of them. We left with just paying the tasting fee, and no food unfortunately.

Beautiful venue, wine is mediocre and the person working in the tasting room was covered in pet hair and not very personable. Have no desire to go back! Can’t beat Napa wines!

Family owned and operated winery. Very informative tour thru the process of growing the grapes to drinking the wine. Stopped for a wine tasting and lunch and could have stayed in this serene spot forever. Beautiful.

I originally booked a hotel in town thinking we would be in the center to walk around. My BF surprised me by searching on his own, and found this awesome vineyard B&B, Croad. He called direct and reserved our reservation, and for about the same amount we got so much more in ambience, and personal attention. We came in late from our train, and was given the personal cell number to Martin the owner of Croad to assist us. As luck had it we got in sooner that thought, and personally met him and the Tasting Manager. We chatted for awhile, and was given a nice history of the vineyard, a nice glass of Syrah! We were then shown to our own private room quarters. The room and bathroom, were top notch..but the views from the deck was MONEY!!
The Breakfast is prepared by a very chipper lady, who is a delight to talk to. Breakfast is continental style, with a few items that are served different daily. Fresh bread, Jams, Yogurts, Cheese, Juice, Oatmeal.
After our visit to Cambria, Martin took use on a private tour of the Wine Cellar. That was such an awesome experience. There are so many great nooks and crannies to this vineyard- it's fun to explore.
Which is what we did the next morning. We did a little hike, and found a few more spots and great opportunities for picture taking.
Croad Vineyard is a True Gem! Don't even get me talking about the WIne..OFF THE HOOK!! Took home 4, tried...a lot.

This was a great starting point for a Grapevine Tour we were on. The owner/vintner Martin did a tour for us and was entertaining and very informative. The young lady in the Tasting Room was fun and very engaged with our group. The wine is also darn good! We highly recommend this vineyard for visiting, tasting, and buying! We came away with two bottles and a wine glass and Martin graciously signed each one. Real classy, but down to earth spot to visit.
