I liked this course more than Pebble Beach. It is harder than Pebble with large elevation changes. I plan to go back and when I do I will return to Spyglass to try to improve my score. A caddie is a must to first time.
Spyglass is not the most famous course on the peninsula, but it's still one of the more scenic ones, offers quite a challenge and I would contend that it's therefore the best "value" course in the area - especially when compared to the exorbitant greens...More
Totally different than Pebble Beach and in my opinion a tougher course. The course is beautiful and well manicured. The holes around the ocean are beautiful with breathtaking scenery. Once you past the ocean holes, you get into some much narrower holes surrounded by trees....More
Anyone not giving this place 5-stars has some sort of problem. This is one of the finest golf courses in the world. It’s only drawback is that Pebble Beach is around the corner and everyone will compare it to that one.

Warm welcome, challenging course meandering between the pines with dear running around you almost at every hole. I have never felt golf to be so close to nature as here.
They have a couple of holes that you will never forget. They specialise in short,...More
I have golfed all of the PB courses. Although nothing compares to the hallowed grounds of Pebble Beach - some of the most breathtaking piece of real estate that one will ever see, Spyglass holds its own in being the Golfers golf course with thrills...More
My husband and I played Spyglass yesterday. The course was in absolutely beautiful condition. Truly beautiful. The fairways looked like carpeting. The greens were fast. I'm not the best golfer, so I wonder if I should have even been out there. I had a couple...More
