This is a lovely farm, with a lot of crafters. Open from September to December, it's the place everyone wants to go, so it can get really crowed. Come during the week, or before October, to avoid the crows.

I just loved this place. There is so much to do and the pies are wonderful. I had the dutch caramel apple pie and is was great. They also have craft booths on the property and you can find some really usual items. Also offered is catch and release fishing. All in all this is a great family place and... More

This is my favorite spot on Apple Hill. There is so much to see. There is a lake for fishing, there are artist craft booths, the Fudge Factory, hay rides, pony rides and so much more. It is a place where you can hang out all day and not spend a lot of money. There are a lot of people,... More

There's lots to do here. Rent a fishing pole & fish in the pond, lots of vendors out and a few shops around the ranch. But you HAVE to try one of the apple donuts or fritters, they are the best donuts around. In fact I'd make the trip for just one of those donuts (good thing it's over an... More

We visited on a cool rainy day which was probably good because there were no lines or traffic. We pulled right in and had some nice hot apple cider and apple fritters and donuts. The fritter was the star, excellent. there were many craft booths to peruse through. My daughters favorite was the apples on view near the press (little... More

Always look forward to our first stop at Apple Hill for Apple Fritters at High Hill Ranch. The Fritters are always so fresh and very generous portions. Fun to visit the crafter booths and always see something new and interesting and of course sit by the pond and people watch.

This place is a must see if you live close to Sacramento this time of year. The leaves are changing and that means its Apple Hill time. High Hill is one of my favorites because of the variety of foods including the Fudge Shop and the apple doughnuts. The fudge shop is not to be missed because everything is homemade,... More
