This is my favorite spot on Apple Hill. There is so much to see. There is a lake for fishing, there are artist craft booths, the Fudge Factory, hay rides, pony rides and so much more. It is a place where you can hang out all day and not spend a lot of money. There are a lot of people,... More

There's lots to do here. Rent a fishing pole & fish in the pond, lots of vendors out and a few shops around the ranch. But you HAVE to try one of the apple donuts or fritters, they are the best donuts around. In fact I'd make the trip for just one of those donuts (good thing it's over an... More

We visited on a cool rainy day which was probably good because there were no lines or traffic. We pulled right in and had some nice hot apple cider and apple fritters and donuts. The fritter was the star, excellent. there were many craft booths to peruse through. My daughters favorite was the apples on view near the press (little... More

Always look forward to our first stop at Apple Hill for Apple Fritters at High Hill Ranch. The Fritters are always so fresh and very generous portions. Fun to visit the crafter booths and always see something new and interesting and of course sit by the pond and people watch.

This place is a must see if you live close to Sacramento this time of year. The leaves are changing and that means its Apple Hill time. High Hill is one of my favorites because of the variety of foods including the Fudge Shop and the apple doughnuts. The fudge shop is not to be missed because everything is homemade,... More

This was one of the largest apple orchards with alot of great craft vendors. Beautiful fishing pond on property. There were 3 seperate buildings to visit that offered bulk apples and other products including fudge, carmel apples, cider and the best apple pie! You could also get burgers and such. It was raining while I was their but craft vendors... More

High Hill is probably about the largest and most popular of the Apple Hill attractions. If your preference is the more well-traveled spots as opposed to the smaller orchards, you don't want want to skip High Hill Ranch. They have all of the apple related foods such as pies, cobblers, ciders, and all and they are all good. There are... More

We started at the High Hill Ranch to get a map, figure out our plan and drive on. We went to several apple places, as wineries are not our thing. Had lunch and a shop binge at High Hill.

Short on time? Like handcrafted artwork? Want to purchase anything apple hill has to offer in one stop? This is the place. I have been here on a weekend and it was crazy. This time I went on a cloudy Tuesday afternoon and it was delightful. We filled a bag with one of each kind of apple to take home... More

Great family fun....cute craft vendors, delicious doughnut and cider, lots of close parking. We didn't try the restaurant or the trout fishing pond, and during our visit it was raining, but we had an enjoyable visit and we will definitely visit HHR again
