Tasting at David Girard is a special event; but it's not for everyone. We do take issue with the negative reviews of this winery because it is different, yet special. It has a similar feel to being treated as VIP's in certain Napa wineries. We...More

Lovely place to visit at any season, has a patio with shade for summer, and an inviting fireplace for winter/rainy days, plus indoor tasting room is elegant. Tasting is by appointment only but that keeps it smaller and very personalized - accommodating staff. Wine club...More

I visited David Girard Vineyards in October 2017. The harvest had already taken place, but the vineyard is immaculate. This is a Private Vineyard so tastings must be booked. Rod, the tasting room manager, was warm and greeted us with a glass of white wine....More

We had a lovely wine tasting afternoon on Labor Day at Gerard Vineyard. We tasted lovely wines with a variety of Dutch Cheeses. And that was really a surprise as we are Dutch. Thanks a lot Rob! We had a great time.

Yes, you have to make an appointment, BUT it is so worth it! Loved taking the time to really think about the wine you are tasting- how it smells, looks, tastes... Best wine out of all of the vineyards we visited! Make the appointment, amazing...More

We used to love this place, and would still give it a high rating if it were still open to the public. Though out of the way, it was staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people and featured some really impressive Rhone style wines. Sadly, they are...More
