The roadside ancient lizards catch the attention of all, especially kids. They see it and demand a stop. It is fun for young and old and not hard to imagine being here in the desert 65 million years ago and not be shocked by the live versions of these dinos.

Go on a cool day otherwise the heat is exhausting. 20 minutes is all you need. You can go up the large dinosaur into a small gift shop which is really stuffy inside on a hot day but the kids love it. Take a few pictures, fun stuff.

This entry in the Trip Advisor listings for Riverside is totally erroneous... this attraction is 50 miles from Riverside and should be listed only under Cabazon, CA and nowhere else. Locator maps need to be corrected, also. If you are traveling to and from Riverside via State Route 60 you might pass by the Dinosaurs but I would keep going... More

It's right off the highway (I10) so it's worth a quick on and off to check them out. There is a gift shop and free entry in the plant eater but there is an admission fee to get into the T-Rex. You stop, snap a few pics and you're back on the road. It's about 2/3 of the way from... More

My pet rat loved Dinosaur Land! A great family attraction even for pit stops. Paws Up! I was driving on the interstate and immediately saw the Dino's from afar. Screamed, "we're stopping!"

I agree that at other times it was kinda cool to see the "dinosaurs" as we approached them. Losing the view from a distance is a pity but real estate has value so it is hard to criticize the owners who developed the land. If you need gas and get off at the right exit you can still see them.... More

Growing up you could oogle and be surprised to see dinosaurs next to the freeway in the long drive with your parents. It was such a treat and comfort to see them each time we headed either way on the 10 freeway. Ignorant, short sighted, non-nostalgic Indian Casino types built fast food and gas stations in front of this wonderful... More

If you are on a long car trip with the kiddies this is a great stop! Get out and stretch for awhile as the kids roam. Most things look fairly new and redone. There is an area to walk through and some of the Dinos are robots that move. Both my daughters 9&11 had a great time. There was a... More

The sand box in which you have to find the rocks in are way too easy to find and the mining is way to hard to find the dinosaurs are ok but not really fun just something you'd see in like Jurassic Park exept they arent moving Mr.Rex is very cheap and old and it looks like the place is... More

I wanted to go into the dinosaur's mouth, but could not fathom giving those people even one cent of my money.
