The Mission Inn Museum and its tour a worth a visit. The museum is small but holds a number of artifacts and historical photos of the nearly 150 year old Mission Inn. The tour itself lasted about 90 minutes, the tour docents were very knowledgable about the inn's history as well as the priceless art set throughout the Mission Inn.... More

This is a smaller museum but it has everything that started Riverside. We spent about an hour there. It has old tin cans and dentistry stuff. Just interesting.

The mission Inn is not only a historical place to visit ,but also a wonderful place to hold any event you might have in mind.I have been to three school reunions, co-workers retirements weddings and birthday gatherings and numerous get together s. The mission has dinning and lodging as well as tours. The favorite of all events is the annual... More

Enjoyed the artifacts from the Mission Inn's history. Being able to send a free postcard with their stamp on it was fun. President Taft's giant chair should be moved to the museum.

My family goes here every Christmas as a tradition for the buffet. The prime rib and waffles are the best I have ever had. Also enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and the kids mac and cheese was so good that my husband kept shamelessly visiting the kids table. Also a beautiful place to take family photo and little up outside is... More

Riverside has a unique and diverse history...take the time to visit the museum to get just a small taste of the Mission Inn's humble beginnings, its hey day, and remodeling to its current glory! The Mission Inn is literally the jewel of the Inland Empire...come visit the museum, it's very interesting!

The museum itself will take about 20 minutes to look through, and read everything. If you want to understand the Mission Inn, or Frank Miller, it's necessary, but there's not much to it. It's rather disappointing for a museum that represents so much more. At least it's free...

A very nice museum with one exhibit room that changes several times a year. There is a great selection of gift items. Many of them are locally made. They include stained glass, wood carvings paintings, books and many more.
