Loved that the convention center is located in the center of downtown Sacramento. A few hotels are conveniently located within walking distance as well as many restaurants. For convention food, it was not bad at all. I would enjoy another event at this location.

Visited the last week of March for a sports commissions symposium. The convention center was very clean, the staff accommodating and beautiful and the catering was equally delicious.

I enjoy the speakers once a month. Usually at the beginning of the month on a wednesday night from 7-9pm. Unusual speakers. The had Jay Leno a while back and he was excellent!

I attended a sports symposium here and thought the space, catering and ease of getting around made for a great conference. The hotels, restaurants, attractions and transportation were all nearby if not connected. Biggest surprise was how good the conference food/catering was - very creative and delicious!

I have been to many events and professional meetings at the convention center. This place gives you a feeling of more importance as you attend your meetings or functions.

Been going to a teacher's conference every March for 5 maybe 6 years now. OK facility. Food's adequate. Park across the street at the Sheraton if available. Get your coffee by the Sheraton parking elevator also.

As convention centers go, this one is not large for a major city. However it is smack downtown and conveniently located to gov't offices, over priced hotels, and the capitol of the 6th largest economy in the world. It has a small city feel, but can hold some decent sized conventions. Parking can be challenging after 8 or 9 am... More

I have attended many events here over many years. It is easy to get to, and lots of parking around. Many events here from tattoo shows, to sports competitions, to art/craft shows. It is an event facility - not a place just to see as a building. The answers to the questions in the review vary with the specific event... More

This downtown location is central to Sacramento. Parking is tricky, but the symposium I attended offered parking at Raley's Field and shuttled us to the convention center. Easy access to the large facility with lifts and escalators within. Food court on the main floor and restrooms throughout. WiFi available with good signal.
