Saw The Hunchback of Notre Dame this summer and thought it was magnificently staged. The director's concept was creative and innovative. I loved seeing an actor from Deaf West. I was a huge fan of Deaf West's Spring Awakening. I'd love to see Music Circus continue to do groundbreaking works and new musicals like Hunchback!

I experienced the best musical of my life in this theater and I have seen many shows from San Francisco to LA. Firstly, there is great parking right across the street and The Melting Pot is a convienant spot to grab a meal before or after the show. There seemed to be a lot of booths to check out when... We were treated to live performance of "Caberet." Everything about this performance (music, lights, sets, performers, etc., was the best. I like theater in the round, but excellent choreography is required, which was certainly the case for this performance. I like the stage production much better than the movie as I think a major point of the performance is much... More

Every summer, for over 20 years, I've spent Tuesday nights under what used to be the Music Circus Tent, now it's the Wells Fargo Pavilion. My daughter, my sister, my friends, and colleagues have shared the same seats, with me, that I sat in when I was growing up! I can't imagine a summer without this amazing tradition. Don't miss... This is a great play, the music is fantastic and the story takes you back to when Motown started and how it evolved throughout the years. This is a must see play.

I am a Sacramento native who now purchases season tickets every summer. The Music Circus has come a long way from the circus tent I use to visit as a child. The Wells Fargo Pavilion is a wonderful venue to watch a performance. With the circular stage, all the shows are performed "in the round." The actors perform to all... More

Experience this! Music Circus has been a Sac institution for as long as I can remember. I went here as a teen in the early 80's, back when an actual tent sheltered the performances. Thankfully, now there's modern air conditioning, but the theater remains in the round, meaning there's not a bad seat in the house. I still see at... More

I have been attending CMT productions since I was a child. The Broadway Series season always gets great professional touring productions and Music Circus productions are amazingly high quality. The box office staff are always very helpful with ticket purchases and exchanges. I'm happy to support California Musical Theatre.

Saw the performance of My Fair Lady at the Music Circus in June 2015. The stage is in the middle of the theatre so it was interesting to watch the actors appear on the aisles and walk to the stage. Beverage service is available indoors and outdoors. Parking is available on the street and parking garages. Many dining places downtown... More

I've been to the Music Circus a few times, and each time they take the same room and each time they magically transform the room into an experience. The beauty of this theater is that there are no bad seats. If you're too close to the aisle the actors may interact with you during the performance, if more centered in... More
