Mike Milat was pouring the day we visited here, and we had a good time with him. He's a very amiable fellow who grew up on the property and has some interesting and funny stories to tell. We have visited this winery during our tour in Napa valley. Milat is a small family owned winery. The wines were of good quality and not overpriced. Tasting is at affordable price of 5 $. Unfortunately we did not feel welcome by the hostess, it seemed she had certain preference for the customers.

Visited Milat for the first time this spring on a day trip to Napa. The tasting room staffer was a family member and she was friendly and helpful. The tasting fee is $5 (currently), but is waived if you purchase a bottle. We tasted all their current releases including a dry chenin blanc that was excellent -very light and fruity... More
