Now offering wood-fired Pizza on the Lawn, Saturdays & Sundays, 11-4. Enjoy wood-fired, Italian-inspired pizza on the Charles Krug lawn with a delicious glass of Charles Krug wine. The oldest winery in Napa Valley, Charles Krug recently renovated its historic Redwood Cellar, turning it into one of the region's most stunning Tasting Rooms. Named one of the "Top 10 California Tasting Experiences" by Food & Wine and winner of the 2015 Architecture and Landscape Award for Best of Wine Tourism, this is the winery that put Napa on the map. A must-see for anyone interested in the legacy of Napa Valley winemaking. We offer several tasting options daily, including barrel tastings, private tours, and exclusive tastings of our limited release wines. Walk-ins are welcome, or call to make an appointment.

As members of their wine club for many years we Decided to stop by for quick visit on a whim as we drove by. Very nice welcome by staff and special attention for being members. Nice perks we were not expecting such as Free tasting and unusual opportunity to do barrel tasting from their reserve collection. Very cool and wines... More

Visited the Krug Vineyard, we were treated like second class citizens after I mentioned we were supposed to get complementary tastings because of a partnership with the Harvest Inn ($560+per night!) I wouldn't buy a bottle of wine from Candace if it was the last bottle in Napa!

I discussed this incident with my staff, because we take all of our reviews very seriously, and it appears that some miscommunication occurred. We apologize for this, and we will do everything we can to make sure something like this does not happen again with any guest. More

You can NEVER go wrong with wine from Charles Krug! Add in their amazing tasting room, and going here becomes a no-brainer! Every time I go to Napa, I always bring my friends and family to this winery because they are the best!

We stopped here on a referral from another closeby vineyard. We were disappointed. The wine pourer was snobby and even mocked us to the guest on the side of us. Unprofessional...

There were two flights available at $20 and $40 for 4 one ounce pours. We chose one of each. We really enjoyed the wines, but it was just too expensive. The employees were very knowledgeable about the wine, the history and the region. To buy the premium wines, you must be a member. They can't ship to our state or... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are pleased you enjoyed the wines and that the staff shared their knowledge of our historic winery with you. We do offer less expensive wines that range from $18 to $30 a bottle, and we are very proud of the quality of those wines. Admittedly, some of our small-lot,... More

I rarely go to Napa without stopping by Charles Krug for a tasting. I love the location, the facility, the barrel room, the service, and the proximity to the Culinary Institute of America (another aesthetically pleasing structure). You just feel good being in this beautiful place. The wine is excellent as well. Is it the best wine Napa has to... More

Honestly, I would have rated them a five if the personal pizza we were waiting for wasn't $20! The wines were tasty and we did a barrel tasting which was a nice experience. We'd go back, but we'd eat first!

Based on past reviews and a recommendations from friends we put Charles Krug on our list of stops during our girls' Napa visit in July. This was our 3rd stop of the day (after eating lunch at Gotts). We didn't have reservations and between the 3 of us, we split the Classic and Reserve tastings. The tastings are done at... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your visit and that we were one of your "favorites." So glad you loved the Malbec. This is a new wine for us, and it has turned out to be very popular. Please visit us again soon the next time... More
