This is one of the most beautiful spots in the valley as far as I'm concerned. I've been visiting Rombauer for years now-- it's definitely one of my favorites! Mostly known for their Chardonnay-- which is fantastic-- they also make some amazing Cabernet, Merlot, and Zinfandel.

My guests from Ohio made their first winery stop this morning at Rombauer Vineyards . As usual the amazing view from the deck caught the eyes of my tour guests. The staff was extremely friendly and informative during the tasting and they said the wines were incredible . Extraordinary tour services will continue to bring its tour guests to Rombauer Vineyards... More

Ok, it's weird that a guy with an iPad stops you at the entrance. We were not able to get a tasting reservation, but the person on the phone took my name and made me an 'appointment' to drink a glass of wine on the terrace. iPad Man could not find my appointment, but waved us through and said to... Absolutely beautiful setting! You feel like you're in a tree house looking down onto the vineyard. The little house is a great intimate setting with the friendliest staff and owners! Take your glass outside and sit on the porch where you can mingle with the other guests! Made some great friends on that porch!

We really like Rombauer. We visit Christian every year but this is our first review. He provides the typical tour but then zeros in our our preferences. My husband and I have very different tastes, for instance I love reds And he loves whites. Christian provided both and we bought both. You may not be a port lover but this... More

We arrived to the winery on time and had a nice tasting in their tasting room. We then purchased a glass of wine and sat in their outdoor gardens. It was quite peaceful and very beautiful.

I was disappointed by this tour. I love Rombauer wines and I heard the Caves were awesome. I found the caves tour to be so boring. You walk through and look at ipad videos. It just seems it could be presented better. Our guide was new and nervous and I couldn't connect with her at all. The property is beautiful... More

Rombauer is known for Chards, Zins and Cabs. Didn't disappoint. Winery clearly makes among the best, and not overly priced. Glimpse of view over valley is nice too. Fairly far north in the valley. Be sure to have reservations for tasting ahead of time if Friday-Sunday, especially late spring to fall. If you don't do that, then the experience is... More

Definitely a destination point for us. We fell in love the very first time we came to the winery five years ago. The wines are wonderful and the landscaping is spectacular. Well worth the drive "off the beaten path." Number one for buttery Chardonnay's!

Absolutely gorgeous setting with great views of the napa valley from high on a hill outside Saint Helena. Nice sculpture garden with paths and picnic tables set in nooks on the woods and flowers looking out over the views of the valley and a nice balcony attached to the tasting room itself. The wines were great and the tasting room... More
