We did a number of tastings in the Napa Valley and this was, by far, the best hosting experience we had (and the wine is fantastic as well). Julio made us feel at home, like part of the Seavey family, and gave us an unforgettable experience. This is a small vineyard / winery and the personalized family touch shows throughout the estate, short tour, and tasting room. The wines... oh the wines. Don't worry, they'll ship them back to your house when you realize you want to buy more than you can carry (or want to pay the airfare for). Seriously - if you're coming to the area for the experience and to find some really top notch vino, this is where you want to be. We're very much looking forward to enjoying their wines for years to come.…

My wife and I stopped up here on our anniversary trip to the area. We absolutely loved them history and beauty of Seavey. Not to mention the great wines. It’s certainly off the beaten path and cell reception can be a bit of a challenge but worth it all. We joined their wine club and will be back…

While the wine at Seavey is not one of the big ones, the history of its founder and his respect and commitment to the land and conservation make a stop here worthwhile. A beautiful experience.

A jewel hidden deep off Howell Mountain Rd. in Conn Valley, serving fabulous Cabernets from Howell Mountain Fruit!
Driving from Silverado Trail onto Howell Mountain Road feels like you're in a different world. From a high speed traffic of Silverado trail suddenly you enter a very quiet winding mountain road, with hardly any vehicles. after driving for 1.5 miles you arrive at a small junction where Howell Mountain Road veers off to the left and you drive on to a one lane country road for another 2.3 miles, which seems like an interminable distance. ultimately you come up on to a fallen down building on the left and equally scary building on the right. And, just as you start wondering where in the world you have ended up, and should you turn around and abandon the project, you see a little sign on the left for Seavey vineyard and a little road leading you to a gate and then crossing a little stream leading to a small farm house and adjacent parking spots on a gravel covered lot and a walk way. As you enter the building you're greeted with a glass of white and a lovely tasting table set up for you. You sit down and slowly adjust to the charm of this lovely little winery and the excellent wines you're about to taste. It is a totally unique place and equally unique experience. You are so delighted. you took the trouble of finding this place, But, best is yet to come. And, that's tasting four different Reds that are out of this world. I had been a member of this winery for over two years and this was a fourth tasting with guests visiting from Chicago & Madison, Wisconsin. And we were all blown away by the quality of the wines as well as the host and her varied experiences as well as the depth of her knowledge of the wines. And as one of our friends remarked: ' where else would you come across a wine educator from Louisiana, who knows all about Cabernets, Napa wine culture, and rubberized roofing materials!" Cheers, Mamie! I highly recommend this winery, but, be sure to book a reservation ahead of time. Enjoy!…

This winery is absolutely the best in Napa! Haven't had better Napa wines than Seavey...also a very small unassuming winery with that personal touch that is truly priceless. Love visiting Seavey every time!! Also super-love their annual events for their wine club members.
