My husband played two enjoyable rounds at Coyote Creek. He golfed here last year in July while visiting the area and really liked the course.

Let me start off with this is a beautiful course. I played the Tournament course from the Blues, which is fairly long at over 6600 yards. I loved the layout. Nice mix of longer hols, some forced carries, some wide open holes. Greens were rolling true, if just a tad slow. Fairways we lush, with very few bare or thin... More

I have played this course twice. I will never play a Jack Nicklaus course ever again. IMHO this type design is the major reason play nationally is down. Way too difficult for the average golfer; rough, greens, bunkers, creeks, slope etc are just too much. Lost 9 balls to the Tiger Salamander environmentally sensitively rough. $1000 fine if you go... Played as a single and got paired with another single and couple. The Valley Course was in good shape especially considering the sever drought here now. The tee boxes and fairways were all well maintained and in good shape. The greens were excellent and ran true. I'm not sure why others have knocked this course as boring as I found... More

Hi gang, I decided to complete the "bifecta" of playing both courses at Coyote Creek in San Jose, Ca. Having already played the Championship course 2 yrs ago, I availed myself to play the Valley Course. I paid $60 w/GPS cart (Sr rates apply for playing either course). Unfortunately it was 95 deg out there but a comfortable breeze felt... More

There are 2 courses here; I played the easier and slightly less expensive Valley Course. The Tournament Course is longer, more difficult and use to host a PGA Champions Tour event. The staff was friendly and polite. The course design is fairly flat and open, for the most part what you see is what you get. There isn't much hidden... More

We had made up our mind to play both courses. It started with a 7:10 tee time on the Tournament Course. I loved the course. It was in excellent shape especially the greens. I didn't think it was that difficult probably because I played well until the 17th Hole. Wind was blowing straight into our face. Nice drive to the... More

Stopped by Coyote Creek for a quick round on our way to the Monterey Penininsula for a golf holiday. Course had a tournament booked so we couldnt play which was no big deal. The issue was with the pro on duty giving us his opinion on Pebble Beach golf course and how only a few holes are good, not worth... More

Played both courses this week and loved them both, the Valley course was a bit easier but both challenging. Excellent condition and well taken care of facility with excellent practice areas for chipping, putting, sand, and a decent driving range. Pace was decent during late afternoon, not too much waiting. Can't wait to play here again next time I'm in... More

Close to home yet you seem to be in another world. With 3 exceptional 9 hole layouts you always get a challenge and change of scenery. The food after the round is also great and the clubhouse atmosphere is more like a country club. Also a great place for a party or wedding.
