Like the other missions this one has its own unique look. This mission features an excellent museum and pretty but smaller garden. The church with its addition is quite large. Be sure to walk out front for another well kept area . If you can go on the 1:15 free tour it’s about 45 minutes and meets on the front steps. We had Maurice who was very informative.

The mission is an oasis of soothing atmosphere and relaxation with its light infused garden and bright colors. The architecture seemed to reflect the mild spring weather. The mission features and interesting store and a nice museum with interesting historic artifacts. Definitely worth a couple of hours.

Beautiful old mission- well laid out museum Doesn’t open till 11am so plan accordingly. There is some limited parking on the property; we didn’t realize this and paid to park on the street. An hour should be enough time to look around unless you like to read everything on the museum plaques
