Stopped by here on a Sunday morning and was so impressed with this antique beauty. Make sure you peak into the open courtroom on the 3rd floor. Beautiful mural tells the story of the area.

Don't let the name "courthouse " discourage you. Beautiful architecture, great view from the tower which has elevator access. Wonderful courtyard and dramatic interior with painted beams and interesting curved stairways. Also elevator access to the clockworks area!

I can't remember for sure, but since it is a public building in use every day as a courthouse I am pretty sure it opens at least by 9 am.
