We decided to meander down the wharf on our recent visit to Santa Cruz. It was a beautiful day. The sea lions were sun bathing on the pylons of the pier. The sun was shimmering on the ocean. The views were beautiful and all the little shops and eateries were delightful. It was not crowded and it was very relaxing.... More

Wharf is very old. Needs work. That being said, it's a nice place to sit on a sunny day. Go out to the end. Grab a coffee or something sweet from Marini's. Enjoy the view and the sea lions.

It was a sunny afternoon that I wandered down to the boardwalk and discovered the wharf. As I was walking out the wharf it seemed to go on and on and on. I had no idea what was at the end of The Wharf and I was pleasantly surprised just see all the sea lions swimming in the water and... More

If you want to really "get" Santa Cruz and experience the biggest bang for your time and buck, the Wharf is the place to do it. This is not like any Wharf you've been to. First off, you can drive right onto the Wharf and there's plenty of parking. You pay a very reasonable parking fee on the way out... More

Walking along the front is great, even at dusk, you could see the sea lions coming up onto the pier to sleep for the night. Quite a few places to eat, parking on the pier is reasonable. I did not realise this was the location for lost boys until I got home!! I am likely to visit here agai during... More

Years full of Memories cruzing down the wharf strip in Santa Cruz. Easy access to the beach, board walk, shops, resturants, hotels, and the location where the movie "The Lost Boys" was filmed.

Even though they are remodeling part of the boardwalk, the place is always a blast! The arcade is crazy, the rides are fun, the food super greasy, and they still have the rings on the carousel that you can throw in the clown's mouth. Love this place!!

It's one of those places you have to visit at least once if you're in the area. I was happy with the eatery we chose spontaneously for a late lunch. The shops are good, but somewhat repetitive. Fantastic views and photo opportunities.

Really spectacular views, even at night. One idea is to catch the sunset here, which is what we did. Really fun energy here.
