This is the type of place that draws you back again and again. It was always the end to my bike rides along west cliff. There was nothing better than finishing a nice long ride, biking onto the pier, watching the Sea Lions, then heading into the Stagnaro Bros restaurant for their signature bread bowl clam chowder and a hot... We walked over to the wharf after our time at the boardwalk and loved it. There are a few restaurants and sweet treat shops. Truly the best thing though is just gazing at all the sea life. There are sea lions everywhere exercising their right to nap, their right to cuddle and to do the occasional bicker. They're fascinating and... More

If you love arcades and different carnival games you'll enjoy the walk. All 4 of us hopped on the Giant Dipper (wooden rollercoaster) and we're all surprised it was more thrilling than we thought it'd be. Download the parking ap to save time with parking since all the meters require quarters.

The Santa Cruz Wharf is a wonderful sunset walking experience in mild or moderate weather. Enjoy the grace of the seabirds, listen to the seals, people watch, it's a fun thing to take a walk combined with a drink, appetizer or dessert at one of the restaurants, or else a full on dinner with reservation at one of the west... I was not at all impressed with the Santa Cruz Wharf. It is older and not very nice. We walked to the end and watched the sea lions. That was the only part we enjoyed. We decided not to stay and instead headed to the Monterey Bay Fisherman's Wharf. There are not many stores, and the few that I saw... More

We spent the holidays in Santa Cruz. One morning we had breakfast at a great little restaurant at the end of the Wharf (I don't remember it's name). Then we strolled the wharf, took pictures, watched the sea lions, and shopped. It was an incredibly pleasant morning with a great view!

Always a fun place to go and meet friends or take your family. The boardwalk is next door so the kids can have fun at the beach while the adults grab a latte. There's plenty of shopping and lots of great seafood. You can also fish off of the pier. Enjoy!

The best thing about the wharf is the sea lions barking, sleeping, and playing underneath. They're a fun attraction for all ages. Don't miss them! Grab a cup of chowder at the Stagnaro's walk up stand and park yourself on a bench. There are many restaurants and bars to sit at, and they'll have view, but they won't be serving... More

If the weather is nice, this is a pleasant walk. The restaurants and shops are all overpriced and totally touristy, but the noisy barking sea lions at the end are worth the walk.
