So nice of Quicksilver to allow public access to their minis. Nice for a quick stop to see mini-horses hanging out and eating grass. Great they allow viewings for free. I'd love some kind of interaction to be offered for a fee.

Nice place to visit. The horses are so cute. Nice facilities for the horses and quiet. Just go and chill out with the little horses.

Years ago, I saw Huell Howser visit this miniature horse ranch on his trip to Solvang. However, I didn't realize how tiny these horses really are until I saw them in person. The horses are very well kept, clean and friendly. This is a great stop if you have kids and even a great stop if you don't have kids.... More

We visited this miniature horse ranch and finally learn the difference between a Shetland pony and a miniature horse. These are small horses and have the temperament of a horse. We met one of the ranch hands who explained to us about the small horses. we also saw several mothers with foals and walked around the ranch. It was open... More

My parents, daughter and I enjoyed being able to pull up to this ranch without an appointment and just walk around and see the ponies. There's no fee, no signage, no commanding restrictions: just an easy stop that you can take at your own leisurely pace. The miniature horses are darling, friendly and plentiful. Very fun stop!

Decided to go check out the Quicksilver Ranch, even though the reviews weren't all great, but our family really enjoyed seeing the mini horses. We were able to pet quite a few of the mini horses and it was just neat to be there walking around seeing the mini horses. I think it's great that the owners let the public... More

We had a group of 18 people that I had told good things about the Miniature Horse farm. We were on a time frame, but wanted to visit and see the horses, and maybe buy t-shirts. We waited until 10:15. People saw from inside the fence saw us made made no move to open the gates. The pastures didn't look... More

The horses are cute to watch. It appears as though the ranch is left open of the public to drive in, sit and watch the horses roam around the lot. You can take pictures and walk around the property but thats about it. No one is around to talk with other than people who happen to be doing the same... More

This is a miniature horse farm. There is no admission fee, and they welcome visitors. The horses are super cute, and you can get really close to pet them. I know some people thought this place was boring, but I was pleased with our visit. Although there is a sign saying, "Please do not feed fingers to the horses," I... More
