Windmills from Holland are nice, but this one was in Solvang, California, which made it fun to visit. Great photo opps for a real, working windmill. Great park chilling out and eating the local European pastries from various shops nearby.

Nice small park, has a very nice picnic with BBQ area. The skate park looks very good for the size of the town.

Solvang is a recreation of a Dutch village along with the windmills and thatched roofs. Lots of shops and mementos along with a shop displaying the works of Thomas Kinkade.

Visited the pocket park while passing through Solvang on a recent visit. Good for a stop if you brought the kiddos on a visit to Solvang.

This is a very small park on the main street. There is a climbing structure for kids, concrete picnic tables with benches and a grass. That's about it. Good place to being your Subway sandwich and eat if it is a nice day!

Right in the centre of Solvang is a small park that essentially is an attraction for kids but even elders can relax and watch the kids enjoy and play.

This park is an adorable and extensive castle village made of wood. This would be a perfect place for a group of kids to play hide and seek, as the entire structure is a huge maze of a structure with several areas all connected and...More

The day we visited it was 101 degrees outside. My dog and I dislike the heat.... I gave the kids a few $$$ to go around town and buy their stuff, and I waited for them in the park.. There are lots of trees, plenty...More
