Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tons of delicious wines in a tucked away area. The Viognier and Rose were stellar! And the staff/owner we're all super knowledgeable!

A wonderful find jusr off the Sonoma Square! Wines are very good and the people are outstanding. Marisa is exceptional in her explanation of the wines and is an awesome host.

We kind of stumbled upon this place during a trip to Sonoma. We just happened to be walking by and were drawn in by the sign promising big bold reds! I'm so glad we found it though, because it ended up being one of the best places we went. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, which make the tasting such an enjoyable experience. Almost all of the wines we tried were fantastic. The bottle prices were a bit higher than I would usually spend, but the tasting was a very good value. I would go back, and recommend it to anyone going to Sonoma.

I visited Galatea with a group on a business outing and had a wonderful experience. The wine was delicious and the tastings generous. Mark Harding was our host and did a fantastic job of informing us about the product (never knew wine could be aged in concrete!) and about the founder's vision. Would definitely go back with my husband next time we're in town. (the 2011 Syrah is outstanding and a value!!)
