Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a great winery. Jimmy did an amazing job explaining the family history. We even walked around the vines talking about grafting and why they are pruned the way they are. Wine was amazing...like all of it. Don't miss this stop! It's a little off the beaten path and not as grand as some of the other major wineries, but one of the best tastings you'll ever have.

We went to this winery on a wine tasting trip in May. After getting back to NC we decided to join their wine club in June. We never received our wine!! After sending two emails we finally heard from them. It was
a very unprofessional, " oh, sorry, we thought the wine was sent in August, check your credit card we have NO record of your payment." I called credit card company and even though the winery
sent me three pages of paper work they never followed through with any of it. I was upset their only response was "sorry", no offer to send at least one bottle of wine as a token. Needless to say we stopped the membership that never was. Sad, it was good wine with a good story. A wine club membership is not a cheap undertaking and I was upset they handled they whole thing so poorly. so that's why I rated them low.

We actually stayed in an Airbnb next door the this winery, and it’s owned by that winery. Our server gave us a great history of the establishment, and gave us good tasting notes for the wines we got. We enjoyed all of them. I’d happily go back.

The regular person at wine tasting room is no longer there and the person they had did not have much information about the wines we tasted. When someone in our group asked her about the 5 s of wine tasting she didn't know them. Although two of the brothers were there and even one of them came to get a bottle of champagne none came to ask if we had any questions. Disappointing visit!

Robledo Family Winery has a lot going for it. The scenery on arrival is striking overlooking vineyards and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. There is a generous space here including a traditional-looking structure, courtyard area, covered patio and an inside tasting room with a large communal table where the wine-tasting happens (as well as a collection of bar stools).
The family history and history of the winery is charming talking about a grower that emerged to create what you see today; the winery remains family owned with a greater focus on growing grapes for other wineries vs for their own wine production (about 80% goes to other farms, not unusual in the area).
The host talks you through each bottle, the grape, the aromatics, where they are grown in the area and the other details of the journey from growing to tasting. They also teach you how to taste and nudge you towards identifying what you should taste.
The wines felt more like everyday drinking wine. You can buy bottles here to take away or you can have them shipped within the U.S.
This winery trip was part of the Incredible Adventures Tours. You also may want to include this winery as part of a collection of visiting other wineries in the area as opposed to a dedicated trip.
Would I come back again? Not likely because there are so many outstanding wineries and vineyards within this area that I would prioritize seeing another one.

This lovely family winery has a rich story and history. The wines were fabulous and we got to enjoy a picnic lunch on their back patio as part of our wine tasting tour. The staff was very knowledgeable and we could tell they were very proud of the rich heritage and stories.

When we found this place, we were drawn to them because of the family history. The wines are unpretentious and earthy. We went later in the afternoon and had the tasting patio to ourselves for the second half of our tasting.

This is a family run winery with some lovely selections. The founder was instrumental in teaching a new grafting technique that he has taught in Spain, France and Morocco. There is also an exhibit in The History Museum in Washington DC, about Reynaldo Robledo grafting. His four sons now run the daily operations. He still is involved in overseeing the operations.

Nice place, not as touristy as some wineries, and the owner has an inspiring story, but it cost $75 for three people to have small sips of a few wines, and not the top-priced ones either. I used to think that with so many wineries out there, the purpose of tastings was to introduce people to their brand and get some buzz going, but now just having a little taste has turned into a costly proposition. Not even crackers between wines. Our favorite was the 2016 sauvignon blanc.

I was looking for whites and reds so this fit the bill. We tried a Sauvignon blanc, Pinot Grigio and a Riesling, and 4 cabs.
The Sauvignon blanc and Riesling were very good but I was not impressed with Pinot Grigio. The cabs were very good from their reserve collection with distinct flavors by years.
Our pourer was okay but not that knowledgeable about the grape differences. The tasting room was rustic and as expected for a vineyard.
