A Hidden Gem

My husband and I checked this place out one afternoon during our visit to California, because we wanted something other than wine! Our only regret was that we didn't discover it this place sooner during our trip. It is a very welcoming place, with down to earth bartenders. The beers we tried were really good, and a solid variety to choose from. It was dog friendly, and you could tell many of the patrons there were local and regularly visited. Even the fellow patrons were welcoming to us out-of-towners.

While Sonoma is a wine capitol, always still room for a good beer

This is a relaxed venue with good choice of beers and much cleaner that the original funky (but not complaining-the place had character, especially the pygmy pony who enjoyed beers) digs down the road

Great Hazy IPA

They had five hazy IPA’s when we visited, along with a delicious wheat and a Bavarian Rye. All in all, a wide range of beers, all tasty. Try the sampler to experience the variety of brews. The brewery itself is ok - not the ambiance of nearby Hopmonk - but, worth a visit. They are adding an outdoor patio, which will add to the appeal.

Tasty neighborhood brewo

A lot of hazy ipa on tap. Had the “hey gurl” which was good - a little bitter at the end and the dark Mexican larger which was also tasty with a lime. All in all, a good spot to stop for a beer or two. They did have a hot dog food truck which was not you average hot dog. They looked great. It was raining during our visit and with outdoor dinning only they had tents up, but no outdoor heaters.

Barkalicious Beer!

We love led our visit to Sonoma Springs Brewing. The dark beer was smooth with a nice finish. It’s an awesome place to bring those fur babies. It’s barkalicious!

Great Beer and Hospitality!

This brewery is not well known as far as their tasting room is concerned. Not even by the locals. The beer and servers were wonderful. Took care of my party and was very helpful when I wanted try something without committing to a full serving. Wished they had food but I hear it is in the works.

Amazing brewery, fantastic hospitality!

I took my group of 30 people to this brewery for beer tasting and tours just a couple days after they opened their tap room, and they did a fantastic job of taking care of us. Kathy and the rest of the staff were so nice and accommodating, and the beer was amazing. Robert did a great job with the tours as well. Lots of great California IPAs and German style craft brews.

Come to the dark side

Well, a nice blend taste of 4 delicious beers. We’re talking a light kolsch to blonde to chocolate to darker (sorry, forget the name). All great. A nice stop between champagne tasting and wine tastings. Hey, make sure you treat your driver with a nice bottle of vino to go with the BBQ. Please, no DTaD. (Drinking, Texting and Driving)

Great atmosphere

Really good beer. Great if you’re a dog lover and you want a place to bring your dog. More of a local, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Sonoma is not just about wine

This brewery has a large range of different beers to suit all possible tastes and personal preferences, which are offered either by the glass or in a tasting flight. It is located a little further away from Sonoma town centre than many of the wine tasting rooms but is well worth a visit, if you like beer as well as wine. It is a pity that they don’t serve food or even snacks, other than complementary peanuts.
