I highly recommend spending a day at the preserve, which is more commonly known as Audubon Canyon Ranch, just North of Stinson Beach. It has a short season when it is open to the public (May through July as of this writing), so check their website first. Enjoy their 8 miles of trails and learn about the site from many volunteers. This is a great place to get close to nature -- to see birds and other small animals in their natural habitats, and to enjoy the sounds of nature unimpeded by our busy daily lives. Woth a visit when in the Sinson Beach/Bolinas Area.

Huge clean beach. Surf is perfect for some surfing but better for boogie boarding. Enjoyed sitting on the beach at sunset. Beautiful surroundings with a number of restaurants in town and many picnic tables on the grounds.

This is a truly wonderful nature preserve in beautiful Stinson Beach, California. Trails for hiking, areas for picnics, nature to be observed. Our favorite place in Stinson.
