We stopped at this roadside stand/shop on our way to Nevada. This family owned and run place is full of goodies with fresh fruits and vegetables, local olive oil, jerky and nuts and a small shop that makes fresh pies and sandwiches. The orchards that provide the local fruit are adjacent to the property. We enjoyed the process of shopping for, and eating, the local fruit.

When you drive across the valley and see all the farms and orchards, how do you pick the right family fruit stand business to buy goodies? We guessed at the Fruit Bowl and were pleased. The selection on July 6th was somewhat limited but we bought strawberries and Ranier cherries. These are California prices but not too high. The quality was good. Nothing really fancy but a nice rest stop. Stick with the fruit and not all the higher priced jarred goods and you'll be satisfied, Try it out.

I am a sucker for fresh fruit, growing up in the Midwest, I love the U-pick farms. This is not a U-Pick but a large majority of the items are grown on their farm. I bought peaches, plums, jams, and a fresh pie. The fruit is fresh and flavorful and the pie was AMAZING!!! I am totally a dessert person but this place offers so much more than the fruit and pies. There is a deli as well as various other items, I believe honeys, oils, spices, etc... Definitely Stop In!!!!

A wonderful for delicious different types of fresh fruit and Vegetables picked daily. Also, very nice for Pies, Coffee, Ice Cream, salads, sandwiches. You can also buy Whole Fruit Pies. There is a Rest room available. Friendly staff. They have been in business since 1947 by the Lucchetti Family. Located on Hwy 88. It is a nice stop before Hwy 99.
