The day was perfect, but who knew it would be so crowded on a Thursday in September. The boat was packed at lunch cruise and most people were there for the party and food rather than tour. They made so much noise we had a hard time enjoying the sights. We could only clearly hear the narration when we were... More

This was a perfect way to enjoy the lake. Took the Tahoe Gal over to Emerald Bay for a Sunday lunch cruise. The day was beautiful and the bay, beyond words. Enjoyed learning about the lake and the history of the area. The captain did a great job with all the information, however, the sound system could be improved. The... More

We took the 3+ hour afternoon lunch cruise on the Tahoe Gal and it was the highlight of our Lake Tahoe experience. The boat was full, but didn't feel over crowded. My wife likes to take lots of pictures and I can't remember a single time she was not able to get the shot she wanted. The Captain was very... More

The Tahoe Gal is a paddle wheel boat that takes off from North Tahoe for a lovely cruise of Lake Tahoe. The cruise lasts about 3 hours and takes you on a historic trip along the West shore of Lake Tahoe. The Captain's live narration will give you some interesting facts about Tahoe's early tourism. You will enter the beautiful... More

Tahoe Gal was exactly as described and the overall experience was excellent. I would highly recommend this boat tour. The guide was knowledgeable and the pace was relaxed. We felt like we got to see much of the lake and learned a lot too. Our cruise had everyone from families with small children, to older couples to other couples and... More

didn't actually get to ride the cruise after we drove us from Reno, Got to the dock which was closed due to the weather. It was a cooler day, with some wind. disappointed that it wasn't posted on their website to see before heading out to the dock.

Took the noon lunch cruise to Emerald Bay. Captain steered close to the west shore on the way down for great photo ops. Narrated and slowed the boat at interesting points. The Captain let me take video on the bridge and answered questions about the boat and gauges - very personable. Had the Chicken Teriyaki sandwich for lunch - it... More

Beautiful way to enjoy the views on Lake Tahoe. Smooth sailing but not really a paddleboat. Food can be purchased if you want. Captain gives a lot of info on the Lake and some of the scenery.
