About
The Tap Room is situated in our original suite right next to the brewery. It allows visitors to have an unforgettable beer experience and see what goes into producing it. Our patrons often get front row seats to watch the actual brewing process as our brewers are working. The Tap Room is unique because it truly lets you be a part of the brewery. At any time, we offer up to 16 different beers on tap, many of them are barrel aged in the used whiskey or wine barrels. The tasting room is used as the ground floor for prototyping new beers. It's not uncommon for us first to serve up small prototype batches to our patrons before we decide to brew large scale production batches!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were pleasantly surprised during our first visit. The staff was nice and the beer was good. They also have a decent happy hour.

Upon entering Refuge Brewery, one might not expect to see how large it is. The inviting rough hewn ambiance is coupled with a broad array of tasty beers served by informed and efficient staff. Help yourself to freshly popped popcorn and add your favorite topping. Long tables aligned for the best seats in the house provide a full view of the brewery, beautifully illuminated, as if staged for your enjoyment. The expansiveness of this establishment allows for plenty of seating or mingling. There are several table games available. As if great beer wasn’t enough, this brewery’s uniqueness is its display of blown glass by an accomplished local artist. Contact Refuge for days and times of his demonstrations. His artwork is available to the public. Also on display are large paintings by a local artist that are sure to please the rock ‘n roll lovers. I highly recommend Refuge for its fine beer selection, as well as for an overall memorable experience.

This place was an unexpected surprise. We were looking at office space in industrial Temecula and happened upon Refuge so of course we had to take a break. We told the bartender to pour us his favorites which he did. The beer was great, we love the Orange Witt and now order it wherever we go. The atmosphere is fun and we can't wait to go back.
The only downside is that there is no food. But we have seen food trucks here on the weekends so that helps and you can order in.

This Brewery has a great ambience and excellent beer. The bartender was extremely nice. The grapefruit IPA is fantastic.

Did a tour of some breweries in Temecula today.
OK and average beer but received extremely poor service at this brewery. The server at the counter/bar basically ignored my standing at the counter (where it says Order Here) for quite a long time and I was not served until another server showed up. Would have walked out if I was not entertaining an out of town guest.
Best part of my visit to this brewery was the glass blowing display. Disappointing experience and will not go there again.

Atmosphere is just ok. Definitely a millennium type of place in decoration. Brews are average. Reel you in on reserves versus the classic. Excellent staff--friendly and kind. Misspelled words on brew board and completely messed up menu! Ask questions and read carefully. Recommend the bourbon!!

Refuge is a great brewery, they are down to earth and pretty welcoming. One thing is for sure, their beer is actually pretty decent.
My husband enjoyed most of them as well, our office is down the street so I know where the guys will be.
ENJOY!

We were told to check this brewery out and I'm glad we did. The beers are really good. They have tables with games to hang out.
