Have enjoyed playing Northstar over the years, has always been a nice course. Seems that the snow has destroyed their greens. Was ridiculous to play on. They should warn people when they call for a tee time how bad the greens are.

Want to golf but don’t want to pay the high price of Tahoe golf , Northstar golf course is budget friendly and the staffs are also , but everything have it reason Reasonable price ! The greens is very rough on most of the holes you may need 4by4 ball to make it to the hole and a few temporally holes so don’t expect to have your handicap, but the fresh air and the greenery make up for the good time

This photo should say it all. Our round was on 6/19/19. While they may have had record rain and snow, the course shouldn't have been open for play and, since it was, the cost for playing it should have been significantly less than $75 for the round. Also, a bottle of Dasani water, which is 79 cents at a convenience store, was $4.00 per bottle. The course was in rough shape, with some temporary greens (and the photo is of #15, which SHOULD have had a temporary green, but wasn't). You may want to wait a month or so before booking a tee time here.

We were in Tahoe for a golf outing and had a round scheduled at Northstar. One of our party called to see if the restaurant was open and was told, yes. When we arrived the not only was the restaurant closed but the only place serving food was the "snack shop". Very limited menu and no breakfast items at all.

1st time playing this course. Very friendly and professional staff. Course greeters, front desk, snack shop, and cart person were outstanding. This is how a golf course should be run. Course layout was challenging but fair. Beautiful golf course. Back 9 very challenging with narrow tree lined fairways and undulating greens. I really enjoyed playing here. I will definitely be back.
