Such an array of fruit pies that tastes soooo good. My fav, dutch apple. Great prices. Their fruit store next door also has a wonderful selection of jams. I liked that they created an ambience of an old time ranch setting. This place is tucked away, so check your gps. It's worth finding. Looking forward to visit again.

So this was our last rest stop before the end of the ride. Trying to maneuver around the long line of cars was a bit dangerous for those of us on bikes. There was no signage indicating bikes were on the road or there would be heavy bike traffic. Other than that small glitch what a great place. I can... More

My husband just dropped in for a piece of pie this afternoon. After locating the pie shop, it was so hard to decided what to get after looking at the long menu! I ended up with the strawberry shortcake which was amazing. There's a picnic area located behind the pie shop where you can enjoy your pie outside by the... More

A friend recommended this as a destination for us to hear out in our Jaguar sports cars for a twisty drive over the Santa Cruz Mountains using only the back roads. We found the Gizdich ranch a very neat place to stop and buy sandwiches and of course they are famous for berry pies! There are picnic facilities in their... More

All pies are great, you can't go wrong with all the pies. They have a order sheet that tells you all about there pies. My favorite is Ollaberry pie :)

We have taken advantage of the magnificent pies available, as well as the ice cream! A stop to purchase a pie to take home, or to sit, relax and enjoy the ambiance as well as the pies, is a must for us during every trip to Watsonville. Do Not Miss This Place!

We've been taking out-of-towners, and families with small to mid-size children to Nita Gizdich's Ranch for a real working farm adventure/experience. There's a museum, old farm and apple presses. They make apple butter, and have a number of delicious fresh seasonal pies for everyone's fullest enjoyment. There's a cool outside eating area with stunning views of the Santa Cruz Mountains... OK so this is a review from a local I live about a mile from Gizdich Ranch. I go there probably twice a week and I've been doing that for about 30 years. This is an excellent multi generational family run ranch where you can get a nice deli style picnic lunch, you can get a whole pie or a... More

I visit the ranch once or twice a month. They grow the fruit, and make all of the pies from scratch. They will serve a slice or a whole pie. Heated with ice cream or any way you like. Most days the owners will come by your table and say hello. Best pie, great ranch environment, really great place for... More
