Sunset Plaza has been an oasis for shopping for over 90 years. It’s the ideal place to spend an afternoon shopping, pampering oneself, and then having a relaxing meal al fresco. It currently features 41 designer shops and spas and 6 restaurants and cafes with more coming soon!

Sunset Plaza has had, as its many tenants, haberdashers, agents, decorators, salons, restaurants and nightclubs such as the legendary Trocadero. Several of the tenants are historically notable for the part they played in Hollywood and design history, such as photographer George Hurrell, and fashion designers Adrian and Don Loper, and Elizabeth Arden. Most recently, Sunset Plaza was chosen as a location for Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party, where a large tent was built to highlight the gorgeous views over Los Angeles.

A visit to Sunset Plaza is one of the consummate experiences of traversing the Sunset Strip. Taking a break from the hectic traffic and non-stop growth in the area is one of the most enjoyable ways to while away the afternoon.

Nice walk.

Nice two blocks for window shopping, outdoor eating. Unfortunately, too upscale to be neighborhood=friendly. The new organic Mexican casual diner is excellent.

Little shops that open at different hours. Like the atmosphere, but they need to get on the same page, and it will be a bit more enjoyable.

If you want to kick back and dine while watching the Hollywoodites drive by in their rented Porches, spend some time at Sunset Plaza. There are great shops, spas and international restaurants from French to Chinese and parking in the back is usually easy to find if you get there early enough. So many restaurants to chose from and some... More

We walked this area a couple of times and didn't see anything to draw us in. In fact it was a bit hard to define exactly what the Plaza included.

We parked. We walked 10 minutes. It was done. There appeared to be a couple nice places to eat but we had just eaten. There were about 4 shops to walk into. It's in the middle of crazy, busy traffic. Just keep driving into Beverly Hills.

I am sorry to hear that your visit got caught up in our West Hollywood traffic! But, thank you for your feedback; we are continually looking to improve the visitor experience! Perhaps the next time you are in the area, you will be able to try out one of our 7 different restaurants. There are also 40 other different fashion,... More

Several great restaurants. Nice shops. Low key vibe but cool and elegant. Super convenient to many key spots in L.A.

That's what you need to truly appreciate the Plaza. A stroll by takes only a few minutes but there are many opportunities to drop a lot of cash on the high-end shopping and retail offerings. If over-priced food and people watching appeal to you, definitely stop here, you will not be disappointed. There were actually some "beautiful people" when I... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
