I flew to LA to see The Suburbs play at Whiskey-a-Go-Go. Had never been to the infamous club and was excited to check it out. The band sounded great and the room was full of dancing fans - great show, great atmosphere!!

Visited as this place is a rock n roll legend. We just found it very sanitised and boring. Not much of a rock n roll vibe to us. "Don't stand on the carpet if you're holding a drink, stay on the dance floor" etc. Lots...More

My husband being an old "rocker" really wanted to see this place. We checked 1st, took a 1 hr bus ride ,hoping to go for lunch & look around. The place was closed with no hours or details posted. Poor website.

I used to go to the Whiskey when I was in my early 20's and that crowd will probably still like it. The drinks are pretty weak and overpriced and the bands are just on the OK side... I had out of town guest and...More

We caught a Rolling Stones tribute show. What a fun time! The 3+ hour set included more than 20 musicians who switched out from song to song. Leif Garrett sang (blast from the past), as did several other musicians from bands like Whitesnake, Natalie Merchant,...More

I believe the seating is VIP only, handful of booths. Small place. And we stood for a few hours, had to keep shifting my weight back and forth.
