I visited the winery as part of an outing in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The drive there was beautiful. I stopped multiple times to enjoy the views. The winery was nice. I tasted the chardonnay and purchased a bottle to take with me. The nice gentleman I was talking with told me to walk down to the events area and... More

we stopped here after a hike in huddart. we opted to get a bottle of rose and sit outside rather than do the tasting. we asked for a bucket of ice and were told that then the bartender "would have to go to get ice and the bottle was already cold"... we were happy but it was quite warm outside... We visited with family and had wine tasting consisting of 5 wines. The view and grounds are beautiful but the wine was only fair and one "experimental" blend was dreadful. Despite the fact we were the only ones there for most of the time, the staff seemed more interested in their own wine tasting exercise. Its a beautiful drive up... More

My husband and I traveled out to this winery after the concierge at The Ritz Carlton recommended it. It was definitely worth the drive (which was beautiful). The sommelier was knowledgable and fun to talk to. We learned a lot about their wines and felt very welcome. After the tasting, which I thoroughly enjoyed, we walked around the property. The... We went last Saturday for the lovely view, and perhaps wine tasting that might enhance the experience. Our pourer disappeared after the second tasting. We stood without any service for almost 10 minutes...but we noticed that not only was everyone being helped but that some couples had two pouring assistants. Some of the groups came in after us. We were... More

We found the place beautiful in appearance and in its locale. The wine was so so and for $ 19.00 tasting fee..Which they did not apply towards a wine purchase .. I found it pretentious and kind of snobby ...Won't go back

Happened upon this winery at the encouragement of ritz Carlton concierge. Really enjoyed the wines, vistas were amazing and people unpretentious.

Stunning views and LOVED the Chardonnay. Did the $20.00 tasting and basically got gone taste! They gave us an orange wine that was not even palatable! Tried a VERY small taste of the Pinot and then asked if we could taste the Chardonnay again. The question was ignored. I wouldn't make the drive and taste there again. There are other... More

If you seek a 360-degree view of the valley and more, and want to taste some fine wine, make the drive. The location is lovely and the actual winery is beautiful. Yes, the tastings are a bit pricey but the view is priceless. Since we love to take pictures, we factored that into the price. It's also available for events... More
