Great place to read or work

I spent a few hours here working. The central library is very nice, with lots of work space, an attractive building and a great location.

While this library is a very nice one, we use the other branches more often as one at least is closer to our home with easier parking. However, the Arapahoe main library also has mid-day concerts most weeks and Sunday performances (all free) which we have attended over the years often. It surprises us so few locals come to those... This is such a nice place to have coffee, sit by the creek, go to a meeting... don't forget to update your library card and take out a book. I went to a book sale there, Inactivity forces them to sell material, instead of safekeeping it. The entire extension cost did not cover one additional book. Computers are great, in... More

Terrific public library. Wander in for the changing art exhibits (we've had so much fun with some of the crazy exhibits), hear a speaker at the auditorium, grad a bite at the cafe. Friendly staff, great place.

The library is next to the creek, modern imaginative building. There is an art gallery too. And a cafe with windows overlooking the creek.

We stopped at the library to look at the art preview for the open studio tours. The woman at the desk-Cindy-was so super nice and told us about some of the local artists and helped us with the gallery map. Then we went into the library. It's just beautiful. The architecture is really open and airy. Storytime was going in... More

For a city of only a little over a hundred thousand people, this was a great library! This library makes excellent use of its location, with the main part of the library (the part that contains the majority of the books) located on one side of the river/large creek that flows through downtown Boulder, while a smaller part of the... Libraries like this one are leading the way by redefining what the institution can be for the 21st century. Check out the Maker Space, the Teen Space, the charming cafe on the bridge overlooking Boulder Creek. A wonderful community resource

It's super cool and has an awesome teen space and great book selection. They renovated it fairly recently and it is very snazzy.

I rely heavily on the Boulder Public Library. I have a local branch, but prefer to use the Main Library, as it's close to where I work. I've found it a good repository for spiritual books, and to a lesser extent books on the history of art, my two main interests.
