Amazing views. We went to top of mountain for sunset, discovered a lot of folks do the same. Well worth it.

My husband and I drove up Flagstaff Mountain after our 3 year old daughter fell asleep in the car during our visit to Boulder for vacation. It's an easy drive. a little twisty and turny but not bad. you are supposed to pay $5 for parking at one of the self service areas. we parked at the top and individually... More

I checked into my motel early in the afternoon and I wanted to do some sightseeing just to unwind from a long flight. The clerk recommend Flagstaff Mountain which was a very short drive from my motel. It was a great drive up the mountain with views overlooking Boulder and views of the Rockies. I enjoyed the drive up the... More

We had the distinct pleasure being allowed to rent out the amphitheater for 3 hours. The view was spectacular, a Raven sat up in a tree commenting on our speaking skills until it wastefully flew away. Other animals came by, birds and dragon flies fluttered by, while the flowers and vegetation were in magnificent bloom. At approximately 9800 feet the... More

Fantastic view over Boulder. Staff very knowledgeable, friendly and provided great service. This is a high end restaurant and the presentation compliments their status. The wine list is extensive and the sommelier very helpful.

We parked an hiked to the top only to find a parking lot at the top! It was fabulous. The hike was not difficult at all. You will step on some stones and over some roots from trees but it is easy. Once you arrive at the summit, you will find large rocks and incredible views, the perfect spot for... More

Fun twisty drive up the mountain. Great place to bike/hike and take in stunning views at the various stops on the hairpin turns. We did a night drive and it was quite spooky trying to navigate. Watch out for cyclists during the weekends/holidays

After a day at work I decided to take myself for a drive up the mountain. The drive is a lot of fun and there are lots of lookout stops available. I drove from Boulder right to the reservoir at th end of the road

We ended up here by mistake, but decided to park at a spot one down from the summit and hike the rest of the way. It was really neat. Views of the surrounding area are awesome. We got caught in some rain at the summit but it only lasted about 10 minutes, so we just hung out in a pavilion.... More

Drove to the top to Artist's point and was breathless over the beautiful views. Seeing the green valley of trees with the snow capped peaks in the distance was awe inspiring. The trails available there were very well marked and easy to walk. Would have done more, but ran out of time. Came in through the baseline road entrance and... More
