The Boulder creek path allows you to feel in the wilderness in the middle of town. It's clear waters running along the walking or cycling path are chilly and refreshing. It is long enough to enjoy for a long time.

A local recommended to us to park at the Boulder Public Library and take a walk on the Boulder Creek Path. What a great experience! The bicyclists stayed off the dirt path and allowed us a leisurely stroll, watching the tubers float down the Boulder...More

Great walking or biking path next to the university of Colorado..lovely little stream of water with parkland all around, can be busy and lot of homeless people frequent the adjacent parkland but seemed safe as a woman walking alone as lots of walkers, nice shade...More

Our group of six divided into walkers and bike riders to travel this awesome multi-use trail. Since it was a gorgeous day this well maintained paved trail was being used by families out for a stroll, joggers, cyclists, couples, and dog walkers. The views were...More

Just a gorgeous multi-use trail - was lovely to walk or ride or simply move through. Boulder Creek is awesome, and the views are wonderful at every turn. Really cool how they built this around the road but away from it.

I love this walk. Nature AND the city within feet of eachother. Bring a few tubes and go tubing! I saw someone reading on a hammock between two trees. Good path for walking or biking.

This is a great trail with lots of variety. We did the real uphill (and downhill) part, and it was beautiful.

Boulder Creek Pathway is a nicely designed community ammenity in Boulder. The area is prone to flooding and the park along the creek educates, helps maintain water quality and has flood control mechanisms. Stroll along at any one of the entry points and enjoy people...More

Borrowed bikes from our hotel (there's also a great bike-sharing system you can use), and joined the bike path at about 9th street. First we biked west to the foot of the foothills, then turned around and biked about 5 miles east. The paths are...More

We walked basically the entire path out and back- around 12 miles in all. Beautiful trail, even though we sure got wet. But the good news- very few people on path due to the weather. Most bikes gave us warning they were behind, although a...More

Are there water fountains along the creek path?

I only recall one fountain on the path. Most people carry their own bottled water or fill up a bottle with water. This is important if you're coming from low altitude. The climate is semi-arid and the altitude around 6,000... More

Hi! Thinking of taking the path for a couple of hours tomorrow afternoon (3/7). I'm guessing that snow has been cleared... Do you think kids (8-13) on scooters is OK? Thanks for any info!

Bike use it, so I would think scooters would be okay unless they are motorized.
