We went there briefly after dinner and I was amazed at how beautiful this place is. You are surrounded by the high red rock canyon on each side with the water flowing through the middle of it. I was in Awe of the beauty. Its...More

We hiked several of the trails in the State park. All of the trails were steep but doable and very enjoyable. we were here at the aspen leaf color change and we were not disappointed.

I really like the canyon hikes here. Also, lots of people climb in the park, so that's a good sign. Definitely want to go back.

Eldorado Canyon State Park is a gem not far from Boulder. You drive through an arty village established in the 1800's with road quality not improved since...speed limit 15 mph, but go 5 mph in a normal car. Once past that if you are lucky...More

The Rattlesnake Gulch trail has great views and is the perfect length at 3.6 miles. It's a moderate trail with some inclines and overall a great day hike.

Beautiful way to spend an unexpected snow day in May. Only passed one other couple on the Fowler trail. Quiet and peaceful.

It is 8 dollars to enter the park. We tried many times to park our car somewhere before the park entrance but there are really no other options.
