Boulder Theater is a classic. Perfect for a private Christmas party which we attended last night. The band "Nacho Men" was fantastic. Guests danced non-stop! Fantastic entertainment and socializing. Upcoming events "John Water'sChristmas" ... Located near Pearl Street across from the "Happy Holidays" decorated Court House which is lit up at night. Walking along Pearl Street Mall in December is... More

What a hoot! Great MC, amazing films, groovy vibe. Not sure where the real seats are... These need to go back to whatever church they were borrowed from. Yikes. We were instructed to jump out of our seats after every film for ovations. Otherwise I'd have been crippled by the programs end. Super sad that I missed the Zombies here... More

We saw a live recording of a podcast here, overall, it was just a 'fine' venue. Nothing drawing us back to it, but also nothing driving us away. Pros: Beautiful and charming location, great aesthetics, nice staff, great drink selection/prices Cons: Noticable smell, poor (but modular) seating arrangements, vandalized bathrooms

Our first time in the Boulder Theater in downtown Boulder CO. Hard to find a parking space close, but we were able to finally park in a city parkade a few blocks away. We had purchased our tickets ahead at the theater and picked out 1st row balcony near center, great seats! There is a bar at the back (nice... More

The music sounded GREAT, and it was nice to have a bar right in the theater, but it would have been nice if I could have SEEN the performers. I flew from Salt Lake City to stare at the back of peoples' heads. NOT COOL. The way they place the seats, they're not staggered (that would have helped) and although... More

This was the first movie theatre, (it used to show movies also) where you could have a drink and watch a movie. Seemed fun at the time. It still is for their live venues, which always seem very intimate as it is such a small theatre. Only wish the seats were more comfortable.

We came to the Boulder Theatre for the Infamous Stringdusters concert, got there early in cold rainy weather and instead of waiting outside decided to go next door to Georges Bar for a brew. A guy at the door asked us for our tickets - what?! Turns out those with tickets could cone in for a drink, get stamped and... More

We have probably been at this venue 20-30 times in the last ten years. As the old baggies that we are, we now go only when there is an aging folk singer performing (Joan Baez or Arlo), or when a film festival film is showing. The building is a great Art Deco relic and is beautiful inside. The really bad... More

The venue is small which makes for an imitate setting. It is also nice that you can touch the stage if you are up front. There is no fence/gate area. We saw Yonder Mountain New Years Eve and it was awesome! The only disappointing circumstance is that we were told that we could not smoke an e-cig in side, however... More
