I loved the hiking trails so close to downtown. Beautiful day and well suited for the visitor needing to get their mountain legs. Loved the views from the top.

I really enjoyed the mountain trails at Settler’s Park. When doing the Red Rocks Trail, definitely wear hiking shoes as I was close to losing my balance several times. The north side of mountain is shady so it’s cooler than the south side of the...More

A great meeting spot for friends as it's at the base of the canyon. Close to the boulder creek, it's a fun little park to hike around then head down to the creek to cool off.

We recently visited Settlers Park for the first time. We found the hike to be fairly easy up to the red rock formations. There are beautiful views of Boulder from the top. There was plenty of free parking, too.

Lived in Boulder for almost a year and finally made it to Settler’s. There are no words to describe how amazing it is. Breathtaking. I didnt see the mountain lion warning until AFTER our hike. 😲

Nice short hike with great views. The park rangers were nice enough to post a sign saying there had been a mountain lion sighting on the trail with the date listed. We still did the hike and saw no animals.

The trail up to the red rocks is too strenuous for this senior, but I enjoyed walking down below the trail, reading the informational signs and taking pictures. We appreciated the picnic table!

This is one of the first and most familiar places that I began hiking when I moved here a long time ago. Since then, the park has changed very little. At the top of this 1/2 a mile (but moderately steep) hike, you will find...More
