My kids love going here almost more than skiing. I only wish that people at the bottom would pay attention more. Even adults just go down and don't pay attention of getting out of the way.

We rented sleds from ridden on main Street for $10 for the entire day. The park is great. Has a great hill that you climb up and sled down. Dog park and pavilion with bathrooms located same spot. It was perfect! No need to pay for the adventure park in Frisco.

In town from Florida sledding was a must before we left Breckenridge! I overheard about Carter Park while at lunch and didn't realize there was sledding in Breck and we didn't have to drive to Frisco. Our rental house had a sled and an inner tube so we loaded up to check it out. A little intimidating for these middle... More

Our family had sooo much fun here!! It was free and it wasn't as overcrowded as I thought it might be. It is a workout but we all need a little exercise. We also enjoyed watching the big dogs play in the park next door.

There are many ski areas that are a lot cheaper than Breckenridge but because of the sledding hill in Carter Park we decided to come back again and again. My twins have been enjoying sledding at Carter Park since they were 3. The slopes are at just the right angle that it's not too steep and not too flat. The... More

I have three girls 4 and under, we brought some sleds from home while staying in a condo at Breckenridge. Signs lead us straight to Carter Park without a GPS, easy parking (although around 10am it gets really FULL because this is a popular place!) and simple park. Walked up with our girls and they loved sledding down for over... More

Carter Park right off Adams Street, is the dog park in the summer, in the winter it becomes the hottest ticket in sledding. You don't need anything fancy when it comes to sledding, you can buy sleds at the City Market, just dress in your ski gear, the snow gets everywhere, and on a 10F day that is not fun.... More

Perfect area for some free sledding. We had a 7&8 yr old with us, but there were families there with much younger kids. It was safe for the children, but still fun for the adults.

The venue was a perfect gathering place for a September weekend wedding. The guests could stay outside or go in and there was plenty of room. There's a nice service kitchen for the caterer if you go that route. The fireplace was charming and we had plenty of room to set up a bar/bartender in the corner. It's a beautiful... More

This is a great local park- would be better if the people who use the dog park would "pick-up". The park provides plenty of poop bags and garbage cans but we have stopped going because of the attitude of the crowd of young men with large dogs who refuse to clean up after dogs.
