There are loads of trails to explore in this area. Every time we go, we find more. The aspens are long gone in October, but the views of the Collegiate Range are still spectacular. The roads are virtually empty, except for a few "truck hunters"....More

As an avid RV'er we have enjoyed our stays in the Four Mile area. Pluses. - Close to Denver (about 2 to 2 and half hours) but still far enough away that you won't get huge crowds. Plus the area is large enough to spread...More

Lots of open space and wide trails to accommodate all types of outdoor recreation from trail running to mtn biking to camping to climbing and more. Even with lots of atvs the noise is minimal and the sense of connecting with nature is unspoiled.

Discovered the Four Mile area about two years ago, and we will keep coming back again and again! Great place to find a camping spot amongst the rocks, or up on the overlook, very beautiful views!

Free entrance to the park. You can stay on the west side of the park to be close to BV. It's a large area and if you are in the other side of the park you are 30-45 min from town.
